Nettl of Gloucester Open Evening

Mar 31, 2015 | Blog, Nettl, Website Design

On Thursday 19th March, we hosted the official launch of the Nettl of Gloucester studio with our ‘Open Evening’. It was a good chance for us to announce our arrival back on to the high street and putting Gloucester on the Nettl map along with London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Dublin.

We showed off our two floors; we’ve worked hard on the studio re-fit since we took the keys and we’ll add some further pictures showing a before and after comparison. On the evening itself, everything went off without a hitch – and, mostly importantly, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

In the spirit of how our websites work on tablet or smartphone devices, we found many invitees were ‘responsive’ to our invitations (oh stop it, you!). At our peak, our studio was well and truly packed out, meaning a few Strictly Come Dancing-esque manoeuvres were required to make our way through and around our space!

It was a nice mix of people we knew, and those who we were introduced to for the first time. Over the course of the three hours there were plenty of photo opportunities, as you will notice from our photo gallery. If you attended, it is quite likely you were snapped by Wayne!

We would like to thank everyone who attended, the local suppliers we used for providing refreshments – namely Three Choirs Vineyard and Gloucester Brewery for drinks, various local farm shops for Gloucestershire related produce – and, of course, to Louise who was tirelessly working to prepare the nibbles prior to 4pm, and helping serve.

We felt it was a perfect way to introduce ourselves as the first Nettl partnership in the UK, and a convenient walk-in web studio for anyone who wants a mobile and tablet-friendly website. If you didn’t get the chance to visit the studio, our door is always open during the week for those who want to drop by.

In the meantime, if you want to have a look at the projects we have worked on recently, we have uploaded a few items to our portfolio page on the Nettl website which you can view by visiting our new portfolio page.
